Spreading The Word

I recently started a youtube channel with a friend, and to spread the word, we share our videoes on facebook and some differnt websites, it worked and we got some views and subscribers, nobody say anything negative about our videos, but now someone said that it seems a bit desprate...

To be honest I don't really care, what he thinks... We like our videoes and the people, who watches them seems to like them too, I mean everybody likes differnt things right?

So my question is:
Do you think that it's desprate to share your videos on sites, where it's allowed or is it a good way to spread the word? :)

It's not desperate! It's getting your channel out there! If you want to grow your channel you have to advertise everywhere you can! :)
 
When it comes to promoting something, and doing something you enjoy, then it's not even close to being desperate.
