Specific-type text overlay?

I've Got It
I've read the list of software on the pinned topic, but TL;DR:

You know when you have text (usually block bold and white) pop up all over the screen as they're saying a sentence / singing lyrics or something. I'd love to be able to do that, and know what software is capable of it.

Meekakitty is the only person I know off the top of my head that has done it, but I won't link as I'm not sure on the ruling of linking for questioning purposes.

Hopefully someone knows what I'm on about.

What are you asking, how to do it? And do you mean lyric videos?

I am asking what software CAN do it. I use iMovie and I'm almost certain it can't do what I want.
I don't want it for lyrics, it's just an example of where I've seen it.

I want to be able to overlay text on my videos like that, but possibly whilst talking.
It's something I've seen a few YouTubers do.

AAE can do it easily

iMovie is not capable I am pretty sure, although not 100% as I don't ever use it.

After effects, VFXbro did a tutorial on it go to vfxbro.com

Do you mean text that pops in as you talk (like word by word?)

Ah I see, you mean "textifying" XD

Well you just gotta get a editing program that can do masking and keyframes so that text can move in at the right time

Search right here heyhihello meekakitty on YouTube. The way she overlays the text cannot be done in most programs. I'm not being detailed enough. Thanks for your suggestions though!

I was looking around and heard "rotoscoping" a lot. Looking a tutorials is horrifying haha.
