so.. please read through before judging.

tomorrow is my birthday, Ive been doing youtube daily for about a month now and would like to do something different as far as a video goes tomorrow. Im a gaming channel that focuses on commentary and rant sort of videos about gaming sort of things. the game I focus my channel on is league of legends although id like to start some lets plays for a few story games im just not sure if its a good idea to split my channel like that.

so my question is, does anyone have any ideas on what to do for a different kind of video for my birthday and also do you think I should make different kinds of videos on my channel such as lets plays.

Firstly happy birthday!...

Secondly do whatever video you wish to do - I would however refrain from lets plays, I personally don't like lets plays as they seem to be 10-15 mins long with silent moments e.t.c, how about "Birthday Special Reaction Montage"

taking the best bits from all your videos and making a kick a** 5 min video? :)

thats actually a really good idea! as far as the lets play idea I was thinking of editing through it so maybe a highlight video thing.
I appreciate you taking the time to comment hopefully I still have the clips from all my videos saved though :D
 
I would definitely look into diversifying your channel. Test the waters with several types of videos. See if any of them are popular. If what you're doing now is the best, it will probably show.

I will use this advice! and youre right. whatever content my viewers enjoy most will show
