Spanking: Abuse or Discipline?

Ah yes, the age old question... is spanking considered abuse, or discipline? And how old is "too old"?
I made this video to try and get answers for one of my viewers who was still being spanked by his parents as a young adult.
 
Interesting video and subject to talk about, for me I dont consider it child abuse but I also dont believe in doing it at the same time, getting spanked or smacked as a teenager is outrageous and just seems humiliating to me and having your rear end out over the age of 10 is quite embarrassing, surely there are other more effective ways to discipline a teenager like grounding them etc. Nice video.
