Sony Vegas Pro 13 crashes on .avi import?

Hello everyone. I am having some problems with Sony Vegas. It seems to crash as soon as I import .avi files. I've tested this out with .mp4 files as well and that seems to be working. I've tried to download some requested .avi codecs. I read another thread with a person who had the same error. The person never responded if anything worked and it does not seem to be working for me.

These are the codecs I've downloaded:
- x264vfw H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Codec
- Mainconcept MJPEG Codec
- Xvid Video Codec


Computer specs:
- Graphics Card: Geforce GTX 760 4GB
- Processor: Intel i7-4790k
- Ram: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB
- Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Ranger

Use the Media Info Lite to find out which codecs your .AVI file needs to be opened, it is a free program.

After downloading use a program like Winrar to extract the compact that is in .7z format.
Run the installer as Administrator, click "Avançar" twice and then click "Instalar".
Once installed, go to your .AVI file, that you are unable to import into Vegas, then right-click over it and click the "Abrir com Media Info Lite" (it is in my language, portuguese of Brazil ).
Then, the program will open a window with various technical information about the file and in the information which is the name of the codec required to open this file (it may be a codec or two, depends on the analyzed file).
Copy the entire contents of the window displayed by Media Info Lite and paste here and I'll see if I know a codec that might indicate you.
