Hey Guys, I need your help with editing software, i don't know which one is better sony vegas pro 12 or adobe premier, it would be really helpful if you guys left a comment down below and say which one is better and why and btw im a gaming channel :)
 
Overall Premiere is superior to Vegas, but it's also a lot more money. Depending on what you need to do, Vegas will most probably be more than enough.
 
You won't get a definitive answer here. Haha With that being said, I've heard a lot of great things about premiere.

Looking at prices, they seem to be relatively similar depending on which version you buy. They can both go up to $800.

Had no clue Vegas went that high! If you're going to spend 800 bucks on Vegas, don't and go with Premiere ^n^
You've heard good things because it's a great editing tool, and industry standard. (along with Avid)
 
I've used both, while I loved one, I just couldn't get on with the other. In my opinion Vegas is the best video editing suite on the Windows platform, it's fast efficient, easy to use and quite affordable. Premiere on the other hand looks rather nice, but can be buggy, slow and confusing to use. However with the new adobe cloud thing, I might actually have to suggest Adobe as with Vegas you are forced to upgrade every year to keep up with the latest version, costing hundreds of dollars (but less than the thousands Adobe used to charge), while Adobe's Cloud programme makes it far more affordable.
 
Just buy Adobe Premiere Elements. You're not a professional video editor, so you don't need professional editing software. Elements does more than everything you will need and is less than $100.
