Sony Vegas Help

Hiya im using the trial version of Sony vegas pro 13 and I just started using it a few days ago I have most of it nailed down besides the rendering of the video. I can't exactly figure out what settings to use and the videos I have rendered seem to come out with the color dulled and at times the video itself looks to drop frames. So I was wondering if anyone knows what exactly I can do to fix the issue (if you need visual evidence my latest madden video shows what I'm talking about) anyways thanks in advances for any help[DOUBLEPOST=1424489059,1424488830][/DOUBLEPOST]I just seen the sticky post so if that doesn't fix the issue I'll be back

First of all, you need to make sure that every videos in the timeline are fairly in the same range of quality. I usually render as Sony 1080p with .mp4 format. It's actually a little experimental to find a right render format, I tried for like 11 times to find the best one for me.
