Something new..

you should definitely try branching out and trying new effects and things in your videos! because i guess if you're getting really bored of your own videos then chances are your viewers are getting bored as well... it happens to me from time to time but i tried something a little different like i added lens flares, film burns, new music and tried out new vlogging styles and it honestly made the whole thing actually pretty fun... not saying you should change your channel completely but you should definitely try going out of your comfort zone and who knows you might have a little fun! :D

Yeah you can't do it all at once. A new trick here and there, a new location, text on screen, adding a little mini show in the main show, you just keep trying little things and progressing.

yeah sounds like a good idea! To be fair I will probably be so confused by my new editing program it'll take me a while to get used to it and work out everything it can do :) Thanks for the advice :)

Getting started is the hard part. You will find yourself totally frustrated and having to look up most everything in the beginning and it can make you put off diving in. But once you get a basic idea of the main things, everything else slowly falls into place until you're pretty proficient with your new software, so just push through that annoying "breaking in" period.
