Someone tried to "destroy" my channel :)

It depends on how close you are to plagiarism. If you both just share a similar Name but don`t have anything else in common I don`t see YouTube actually spending too much time with it at all but if you both for example would use a similar Name, share similar content or represent it in a similar way and you have launched your Website/YouTube Channel later then him you would probably don`t look to good in front of a court.

The among of views wouldn`t even matter at this point at all, you could have even much more/less View then him and I`m pretty sure the judge wouldn`t spent a single moment with it since it doesn`t matter.

So just post Eskimos Channel so we can compare you both and try to see what might be behind the curtain...
 
I hope YouTube will do something about it. I've had to report people in the past and YouTube did sort them out after a short while.

Just carry on what you're doing, don't fall for his crap. He owns no names unless he copyrighted that name. But I highly doubt that because the word "Eskimo" is a widely used word in other peoples usernames. So unless he's going to go around all the others with the word "Eskimo" in their usernames nothing will happen to you. He's the one who's bulling you.

He sure is a lame loser! :|

We are nothing alike. Our channel name's are completely different. The content we post very different and, as a matter of fact, I have the copyrights to my channel name so I know that there's nothing he could personally do. :)

Lots of social media sharing. If you make a video about a certain game or product... send the video to the publisher and tell them that they are free to share it. Worked wonders for me. :)

Lots of social media sharing. If you make a video about a certain game or product... send the video to the publisher and tell them that they are free to share it. Worked wonders for me. :)

Ok you deffinately can't pull an ip off a youtube account, if he's threatening that then 1. he is most likely a ten year old who likes to play cod on the xbox 'i'm gunna hack your account' seriously it's stupid and 2. yeah that's a tos violation, even threatening it is prob enough to ban him so report his a** :p

And yeah just delete and block the comments lol

Eskimos is a word found in the dictionary! Besides. You probably didn't know him before.
 
Sorry, FILTHY Eskimo (I better not just call you eskimo to be safe :) ), sounds like he's a jerk. I don't know what he could really do to destroy you anyway. Send all his friends to dislike you? Bomb click you? Good luck with it all, I hope it works out for the best :)
