Some Tips For Promoting My Videos?

I've Got It
I Just Started YouTube A Little Over 2 Months Ago, And I Would Like Some Advice On How To Get My Videos Out There More. Can You Guys Help Me?

My main channel had around 105 subs, and my vlog as around 10.

On my main channel I post 1-2 videos a week, and on my Vlog channel it's every 3-4 days. So how can I get it out there better?

If you frequent a forum that is related to your channel, try posting your videos there. Think about the people that would be interested in your videos and try to find them. For example on my other channel I make videos about guitar. The forums I read about guitar related things I post on. When I want more viewers I think about where potential viewers are and try to get involved in those communities.

Welcome, you're new here. :) This question gets asked a lot so I would suggest you spend some time browsing the forum and reading the many other threads and answers on this subject in the strategy forum and also the tutorials forum. Don't forget the search too (top right)

If you want specific feedback on your channel, you can ask for it in the reviews forum (the only forum where that is allowed)

Good luck :)

Best way to get your videos out there (and I'm speaking in generic terms) is to find communities interested in your topic and promote yourself there. For example - if your videos are about bird watching / study of birds (ornithology) then you'd want to be an active member of a bird watching forum and post your video there. Further you should have a linked twitter, and on your twitter you should follow and post about topics relating to birds. The point I'm trying to make is you need to target the community that you want watching your videos. Youtube is a HUGE place and you need to put yourself out there.

Be prepared for the haters though. Everyone is a critic.

If you're watching a popular video and you think of something funny or interesting to say about it, leave a comment and more often than not, people will check out your channel from that.
Make friends with other small youtubers and you can support each others' channels (and gain a friend!)
Aaaaaand make sure you're friendly and you interact with the people that do watch your videos, cause then they're much more likely to stay :)

Try to use a number of different social media platforms to help share your work and also interacting with people that have similar content as you could also work in some ways.

I think the best ways to promote your channel to get more subscribers is:

- Share/promote your videos/channel on social networks(Facebook/Twitter/Younow) and forums like yttalk.com

- Reply to your comments on your videos and post good and nice comments on other Youtubers videos and make friends and collab with other Youtubers.

- Have a good/eye catching looking banner on your Youtube channel and create good custom video thumbnails on your videos because it attracts viewers and potential subscribers and keep posting good content on your videos.

- And try to be consistent with your videos every week as it is not good uploading videos for a couple weeks and then after no new videos for a couple months because it puts off potential subscribers.

That all i have at the moment.
Hope this helps. :)

To be honest, having two channels this early isnt going to help you at all. Seperating your content so early is going to spread out your views and viewers, thats never good so early on. Each to their own tho, just a bit of advice.
