Hey guys!
So my channel has been going for a little under a year now but I only really started consistently putting videos out in January where I had a pretty solid jump in subs, went from 0 to 11 in around 5 months and from 11 to 61 in the same length of time which is amazing. Same goes for the views, I had maybe 400 before and now I'm at about 3500 which is also friggin awesome.
Thing that's getting me is the past few weeks the subscribers seem to have dried up, my review for Bioshock Infinite was popular and had a good 35% watch time but 0 subscribers and my latest two videos have done pretty badly on the view count without me changing much. Advertised them in the same places, Reddit, Twitter and a few of my more regular forums but a very low view count compared to the previous few videos.
Any suggestions on what I can do to change this? I've been reading up on different tagging methods but some places say you should fill up with as many tags as possible and others say you should use 10 to 15 to prevent saturation. I've had a few criticisms that my thumbnails are a little boring but I feel it suits the minimalist style within the channel. I think the videos themselves are solid, they're getting better over time as you'd expect but not getting worse and yet traffic to the channel seems to be decreasing for some reason and I don't know why.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Ouj.
