I use GIMP to create my thumbnails, it's hard to learn how to use at first but once you learn it is a really great program.

100% Photoshop! Fairly straight forward when learning but you can do so much with it!

Yeah.... So as the title says, I don't really have good youtube thumbnails. Does anyone know a good software that will enable me to create good thumbnails with words and animations on it like how skydoesminecraft does it and minecraftfinest does as well?

Photoshop is by far the best. I highly recommend it, even though it seems complicated. The product you will receive after learning Photoshop will be superior to almost any other program.
