So what kind of camera, microphone, video editor do you use?

Just saying, full frame sensor might be a bit overkill for you..actually would be overkill for most people. Get a t3i and some glass :)
 
I use a Panasonic GH2 and sony vegas pro 12.0. I'm still researching external mics so I can finally do some skits! If you want quality video, however, the GH2 is right up there at the top for it's price, right behind the GH3
 
I use Canon T3 (50mm and 18-55mm) and Final Cut X.
I just use built in mic for vlog videos, but I plan on using my phone for a bit better audio in the future.

Hey, I remember the days when I used HD PVR 2 but it was the Gaming Edition. To be honest it was a pain especially when it came to setting it up on a new monitor or even a new desktop pc. Took hours but in the end did manage to sort it out which was a relief. But those days are now gone. I'm using another capture device which is awesome!

Hmmm, well I use a different variation of cameras lol :p

Mainly I use my Canon 550d for filming (sketches) with magic lantern
Sound is done with the RODE videomic
Editing is done with Adobe premiere pro cs6, vfx is after effects, and for tutorials it's camtasia
