So...My last video flopped hard...

It seems a lot slower for me today as well. I wouldn't stress about it.
Funny....I was wondering why my video I uploaded yesterday did flop so hard, too. So basically the same for me. Not sure if related though (and I didn't expext much from it anyway since it was just the 500 sub special and not something really "tuned")

Or maybe, my viewers don't like the Teenage Mutant Turtles lol

Flops always suck. Although for us a flop is 12 instead of 40 hahaha. Still, though, never be afraid to rename and re tag your videos. We've done it for some, and it's helped spur a little bit of growth for them. There was one that we switched pretty early on (within 48 hrs of upload and going live I'd say) that just never seemed to catch on, but the others we switched up saw a little bit of growth. All the best!

check your analytics, how many of your viewers in total are girls? and of the age range that would be most interested in your video? do the views stack up with that percentage? I wouldn't avoid doing slightly more niche' vids like this in future, because they can be great gateway videos for new viewers to find you. :)

My overall views on Wednesday were quite low compared to the 28-days before, so maybe Wednesday was just slow for YouTube? Anyway, I wouldn't say a video flopped just based on its initial release date. I have a couple videos that have stood the test of time.
