It could be bots, it could be someone trolling you, or it could be Russia. Either one of those options is definitely a plausible answer. Have you checked your analytics to see where the dislikes and views are coming from? That might help a bit... I think. :/

People simply don't like your video for various reasons - not everyone is going to specify why.

Of course one or two of them could just not like the Video. But the video's totally fine, why would there be nine People who don't like it out of nowhere? And even if it was the case: People who only dislike and don't tell you why are never usefull so what could he do different? As Long as the comments are positiv I would not worry.

Seeing it was all in the one hour it's probably someone with a bunch of channels... One person takes exception to your video, they happen to have 10 channels/accounts that they can dislike from, and they take the time to do all of them at once.

Maybe this is the case for larger channels, but when you get 12 dislikes in under 24 hrs on a channel w/ 150 subs, it is okay to suspect bots.

I had sort of a similar thing happen to me last night. I uploaded a video last night, went to bed and woke up with 7 dislikes on that video, and 12 other new dislikes on other videos. The weird part is that none of my videos got more views. I only have 98 subs, and I think it might be someone using multiple accounts.

No, it really isn't okay. It makes you look like a massive tool who can't take critique.

Why would someone create bots that generate views for a video and gives it negative dislikes? What kind of practicality would that have?
Use some basic logic. It makes more sense that a group of people found your video (as in, a group of people with same interests) and disliked it than that someone would run a bot script against your channel - especially a bot script with no useful function.

d'ya think it could be a bot? I've been reading into it, and the video had 11 dislikes with only 20 views! This is unheard of for my videos! I will get 0 - 2 dislikes (maximum) usually!

If so, hopefully YouTube will be able to help resolve this problem SOON!

The exact same thing happened to me with my 'people that exaggerate' video. It got 8 dislikes pretty much as soon as it was uploaded. So strange. Maybe it's someone from here? haha. Who knows. Dislikes don't really mean anything though, it's just activity on your channel. And it usually actually ends up in you getting more likes, as people who like your channel want to beat the dislikes haha. Don't worry about it, probably just a random one off like mine was.
