So It's Coming Up On 6 Months For This Copyright Strike...

Jerry D'Erasmo

I've Got It
I am really interested to see how my account is handled by YouTube. I got a copyright strike on November 14th, 2012, and its now May 8th, 2013. Supposedly I have only a few more days until, according to YouTube policy that the strike will expire. I have been waiting for this to happen for a while now so I can partner. My channel has close to 2500 subs and 800,000 plus views. Now, does anyone know if YouTube really sticks to what they have in their policy section? Does the strike REALLY go away after 6 months? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Your strike won't be removed exactly on 14th of May. It may take a week after 14th may to get it removed IF in the 6month period you no longer have got another strike. If this is your 1st strike then it will be removed a week after 6month and if its your 2 strikes it may take upto a Year or maybe NEVER. I had 2 strikes long back, I got removed after 6months while 2nd never did after 1 year so I countered it and ingot it back.

No other strikes on my channel since. The only thing I have on my channel is a few videos from when I did WWE 13 Gameplay and those were 3rd Party Content, but not in violation of anything as far as YouTube policy goes. Should I be concerned of those or will those interfere with my strike. Can I leave them alone or should I take them down?
