Is it as easy to use as Youtube? Easy to get into/accepted? What are the prime differences between one and the other? I was wondering if it would help get myself out there beyond just Youtube.
So is DailyMotion worth it?

Dailymotion has less viewers, youtube has most viewers, youtube is second largest search engine, while dailymotion is not

I created an account late 2013. The purpose was mainly to lock up my user name. I thought that I better upload a video in case they start deleting inactive accounts. That video is a week old and has a whopping 13 views LOL
There are other kid's YouTube creators re-uploading their content over there but I don't see them getting much success.
I haven't looked into monetization. I don't know anything about it.
To be honest, I'm really not looking for another site to upload my content unless it includes a subscription-based service like Netflix.
