Services So...intro making...how does that work?...

I have an array of adobe programs and I want to put them to use... as in making a 5 second intro for my channel "HypnoSteam" I don't really know where to start and how to further produce my intro but I will try my best. All I want is for my intro to have a sort of musical beat effect when a song plays... like glitch cities intro > watch?v=vvbU64EbFM0 but with a bit more distortion. I have adobe flash, after effects, and photoshop to do the job.

From the few tutorials that I've seen, most intro's require a pretty basic understanding of motion graphics. Because in After Effects, I believe you can create a huge variety of different effects and patterns with shapes. I'd say you should look up some intro making tutorials such as this one. :)

Best of luck :)

Use Adobe After Effects or if you want to get really fancy you can use Cinema4d or even 3dsmax.

I checked out the glitch city intro, it was 3D so probably made in a dedicated 3D software like Cinema 4D or 3DS Max. I think the newest version of After Effects does support 3D text though with Cinema 4D lite, but I don't have it so don't know all the details. Good luck

It depends what programs you use. You can make nice 2D intros with AE or 3D with a third party program called Element 3D. For 3D intros, 3DS Max or Cinema 4D are most likely used.
