The best advice I can give is communication. Communication. Communication.

Basically, do your absolute best to make sure you and your collaborator are on the same page when making the video, so you can get the best product possible.

I would say to collaborate your channel need to be kinda similar in what you do so that its not mixed and your doing something your viewers won't like because its not what your channels about so try and find someone with roughly the same channel as yours

Collaborating is pretty important, because you both recieve publicity from eachother. Just try and make friends that are willing to collab, it'll not only be fun, but it'll be rewarding.
