Small Youtubers VS Big Youtubers, which would you watch more?

Everything is about content for me. If I like your videos I will watch you despite your size. Though I agree it is great to interact with other creators, and that is easier to do with smaller channels. I lately have been discovering a lot of musicians with smaller channels that I am in love with. Sometimes it is really worth exploring

Depends how you define "big".
If you mean "big" as in big youtubers (pewdiepie, markiplier, smosh, etc) then pretty rarely.
I don't really understand what you mean by "small" but if I like something that a channel has whether he/she has 1 sub or 1,000,000 subs then that's what I watch.

I don't watch smaller channels unless I know them personally. Which is bad, because I can fully acknowledge a lot of small channels have great content. It's just hard to filter the good from the bad sometimes. But if it's a friend, or someone I see a lot that posts here or on other forums, I'll definitely watch their videos. Big channels, on the other hand, I'll watch regardless of whether I've ever heard personal interaction with that person.

I don't necessarily think that is "Bad". Honestly finding small youtubers without joining a forum like this or stumbling across them on accident is nearly impossible (which can be discouraging as new youtuber). I think that's what makes forums so great. They help you find smaller youtubers with great content.

Yeah forums and groups are best for getting to know smaller YouTubers, on the YouTube platform itself it's hard for smaller channels to stand out

When I first found YouTube and started watching videos, I always watched the "bigger names" never really thought about smaller channels etc.

until the day I started my own channel, I would actually say I watch a lot more smaller channels than I do the bigger ones.

I like the connection you get with people from smaller channels.

just curious to what other people prefer?
To be honest, a lot of the 'big' youtubers are gamers!! But there are some that aren't!! I like to watch friends videos and other ones that I know will make me laugh!!

I would say both, depends on what content of the video is it.

As long as you have quality and entertaining content it doesn't matter. But you are right once you are a YouTube the connection with small channels are amazing. Maybe wanna do a collab?
