Small channel advice?

Thanks, I think that goes back to the Quality over Quantity thing too. How do you suggest promoting them?

Oh yea, you could also put your videos on Tumblr, Pinterest and MyTv. I don't know how those sites work for vlogs but I figure however you can get your brand out there (without spamming) has to be a good thing.

Yes I agree it takes time to get your count up but use ig,twitter, blog sites and fb and things to get your name and videos out there folks have to see who you are so they can sub tell your friends and family to sub and to share your link as well keep at it it will take time but you will get there. Just don't give up.

You have an 11th subscriber now;) Post your videos as a video response to popular videos. Vevo and AwesomenessTV are popular channels which allow video responses.

Shoot, post a video response to one of my videos. I'm getting 5,000 views a week, and I like to help out other small channels. People will notice your video below one of mine.

Also post your videos to Break.com, Funnyjunk, Reddit(be careful, they are vicious), Tumblr, and on Facebook.

Yes, but not necessarily because you are releasing more often, but because you will have more content. More content is good.

Well think of it like this.... The more videos you upload, the more chance of someone finding them. Finding 1/10,000 videos is harder then someone finding 100/10,000 videos.

I'd say one good quality video a week is enough! When people start uploading more than one a week subscribers get behind and get bored, that's my opinion anyway! Just keep chatting to people in forums, comment lots on other videos (not spamming, just commenting your opinions), maybe post your videos to twitter and facebook, getting started on YouTube is really hard, but the subscribers will come with time! The key is not giving up! good luck! :D
