Just noticed this little blurb on the bottom of the description of the newly named Summer in the City Creator Day (was previously called Industry Day):
Please be aware that this is a day for creators and industry professionals to network and learn from each other. There will be a code of behaviour in place and anyone who is seen to be asking for autographs, photographs or in any way acting in a non-professional manner will be asked to leave. No refunds will be made.
There's no way they can enforce that kind of rule. If they wanted to keep the fangirls out, they shouldn't have lowered the price by half to £30 from £60 and then thrown a £10 discount code on top of it (CONTENT1 if you are going and CONTENT3 if you are attending all three days-note: discount codes are from YouTube) to make it affordable enough for anyone to attend. Vidcon prices their industry day track at $450-550, which keeps the fangirls away. And they don't have to threaten to kick out people who ask for photos and autographs.
Do you think this revamped "creator day" will be successful or do you think the fangirls will take over the event?
