Shoutouts Are So Annoying!

A person just said that my videos were amazing then he asked for a shoutout. I told him that I dont give shoutouts so he said that my videos were crap. First of all, you dont ask for a shoutout when I clearly said that I stopped giving shoutouts. Its just rude to ask a random person for a shoutout when you dont even know them unless they say that they except shoutouts. I want to know what you guys think of this person, would you give him a shoutout or no?

That's like saying "hey, you should be my friend!" I hate when people ask for a sub or ask me to view something that is nothing like what I watch. I've watched a few things when I could tell the person actually had a reason that I should watch their videos, but most "watch this video" messages p**s me off

And would I give him (specifically) a shoutout now? No... he called your videos crap.
 
Yeah, if someone random says you are awesome, and then they ask for something, they are just lying to get something. I wouldn't give him/her a shoutout.

he never watched the vid, he was doing it to gain attention.
 
Shoutouts are for recognizing someone doing well, that you want to thank, or that you think your subs would like their channel too. Asking for it is dumb... reacting they way he did is dbaggery.
 
the amount of times 12 year olds have threatened me by saying "shout me out or I will dislike all your videos" .
