Shouldn't I be getting notified of comments on my videos?

I used to get notifications of people commenting on my videos a while ago but I don't anymore. By notifications I mean the bell.

Is anyone else having this problem? I did hear that Google plus and Youtube were having differences. Could that be why?

I get notifications every once in a while, but now I have to go to the community section and look at comments.

Ever since they implemented YouTube Gaming, there have been various issues with analytics and getting email copies of comments. I check my Comments link several times a day to monitor the comments.

No you shouldn't.
Because they aren't linked with Google + anymore.

You will only get notified by replies or +1's

You have to manually go in an check for new comments now.

I noticed this problem today. A regular viewer commented on one of my videos and I never got a notification. Just check your community settings everyday for new comments until this glitch is fixed.

I check my YouTube many times a day, which probably isn't good but whatever. Anyways, for the past few days, I haven't been getting notified of all of my comments, just some. I just manually check all of my comments in the community section, no big deal

Hmm, I just realized that I haven't gotten any emails either for the past few days.

I check manually anyway, but good to know it's not just me.

I haven't received any email comment notifications in a very very long time. I archived them all but they slowed to a trickle then poof.. gone.

Too bad. It was helpful in giveaways plus I could see what certain users had commented in the past... it definitely helped me find some bad eggs that I needed to block. Sad that it's gone now.
