Should Youtube be more strict on hate speech and graphic violence comments?

As most people have seen the youtube community has some good and some retarded people in it for instance on a homosexual creators content he may be attacked with words against his taste in men or women like the words fa* or qui* and even escalating to what could be a hate crime (verbal threats against person or group bias to particular practice or belief) with little punishment or none at all, other then them being reported which is pretty useless. Now the question should youtube/google lower its tolerance such malicious and relentless words that go against the terms of conditions and result in chat suspension or channel suspensions? Your choice my opinion is pretty obvious on the matter.
 
Well it's kind of a slippery slope because their is Freedom of speech here in America. Now, people should be able to express their ideals unless it puts another person in danger or threatens another person. So a person should be able to say whatever he/she wants so long as it doesn't threaten another person. I mean if a person goes around spreading malicious language in YouTube then they should be banned but all that person has to do is create another YouTube account.
 
Just dont take it to heart. I get hate comments on my videos on my second channel a bit. I just laugh.. afterall "Haters Make Me Famous" ;)
 
I think if the comment crosses a line, yes they should be more strict. Sadly they can't do too much because of the 'freedom of speech' thing. But they shouldn't let all those comments slide. Youtube has given users more control, so the creator can ban comments that include Fa*, B****, F***, ect.

Now I do agree with you. There will always be people leaving hating comments on YouTube so the best thing to do is ignore them. Remember, don't feed the trolls.
 
But if you read the rules of agreement it states there not allowed too yet they don't follow there own toa and let it slide until like 100000 reports, although yes I do ignore hate and laugh but when it gets to attacking a person for belief or practice I don't agree and think they should be more strict to those who are only trying to make people hurt/promote suicide wich people do and still nothing happens.
 
Free speech is fine and dandy, but hate should never be spread. Ban 'em. Even if they make a new account, the idiots can't help themselves and will just end up getting banned again when they continue to spread the hate.
 
YouTube needs to be more encouraging to contructive critizism instead of destructive critizism. Encouragement is actually proven to work. Not as it maybe should be, but slightly. That better than nothing, right? There are so many trolls, spammers and haters that it's just ridiculous.
