Should you share mediocre videos?

Rachael

I Love YTtalk
I always share every video on Tumblr and Twitter for my subscribers. But do you go out of your way to promote a video that's only okay? I usually only promote a lot when I think a video is very good, but am I missing out on views/subscribers when I don't for mediocre videos?

It all depends on the video of course :D put the same effort into all our videos if you don't have a large enough fanbase to share it for you :) think of all the videos you didn't share that you might have essentially gained an extra view of sub for :)

I don't use my tumblr all that much. Therefore if I shared every video I it would crowd out a lot of the other content I do reblog or post about on my tumblr. For that reason alone I tend to limit what I share on tumblr as much as I can, since I don't want it to just end up being a YT dumping ground.

If you don't have this problem I'd say promote every video, I mean why not, unless you think there's a chance you can bring in a bunch of dislikes through whatever platform you're using and you don't want dislikes.

Actually, dislikes boost rankings. Dislikes and likes both count as view interaction so they both do the same thing. The only negative is that dislikes show that the video isn't good. If there is more dislikes then likes, then there is a problem with what you are doing.
