Should I Start a New Channel?

Rae Talks

Liking YTtalk
I am thinking of changing the focus of my channel and I was hoping to get some advice. I currently do vlogs about pop culture, but I think I would like to talk more about music specifically, from now on (reviews, reactions, etc). I have done some music reviews and reactions before, and they tend to be my most popular videos, however I don't do them that often

Should I start a new channel since I'll have a new focus, or just stick with the audience I have already?

This is a tough one. Its not too far from what you normally do to require you to make a new channel....so I wouldn't.

You have a nice little following already developed and like someone said what you currently talk about isn't too off base of what you want to focus on. I would say keep your channel and inform your subscribers you will now be focusing on more music reviews

Keep your old channel, you already have a nice fan base and if your music related videos are the most popular then it's probably what most of your subscribers are looking for. Maybe make a video just to tell your subscribers that you'll be focusing on music

Post it in your current channel :) I tell you because you already have a small following. I was doing all gaming videos and I was thinking about making another channel to do crafts but instead I just uploaded them to my "gaming channel" and they exploded and got me even more subscribers and views on both gaming and crafts videos :) Also it is easier to handle one channel than having two because you will pay more attention to one than the other.

I agree on what majority said here, stick with your current channel. Probably group videos in playlists, add a new section for new ones, this should make it look tidy and organized for visitors that come by.

For what I see, I would suggest you to just stick with your current channel and just produce a different content. Maybe like put it like (Example) Every Monday you talk about Music Reviews, Tuesday Reactions... Etc) Make use of what you have to create an Entertainment Channel.

Personally, I would still with the channel you have now. I feel like it would be a different matter if you had a large fan base that already knew your content type though.
