Should I start a new channel?

So, I have a youtube channel and I have around 1,500 subscribers. And everyone at my schools found out about my channel, and some don't really care but some take the p**s out of it, so I want to start a new channel that no one knows about. Should I do it?
 
Honestly, no. But if you want to then of course, its up to you. I had a YouTube channel at school with around the same amount of subscribers you have now, I didn't delete it or anything but I was the type of person who would happily tell all the horrible people where to stick it and I have a deathly stare, so I did okay with it. If you can't deal with it, make a new one, don't delete your channel though, you can look back in a few year on it :) (plus it won't stop them you know, they'll know they've won and be making jokes still) :/
 
Don't make a new channel! 1,500 subs is a healthy amount that you don't want to loose. Don't let your subscribers suffer for a few idiots at school. Best thing to do is just ignore it as best you can. just think, for all the school kids that pick on you for it, there's 1,500 people around the world that think your awesome :)
 
DO NOT make a new channel please. You've worked so hard to get 1,500 subs we all know how great of an acheivement that is. People at school are just jealous that you are successful at what you do and don't let that bother you at all! At the end of the day you have ur friends, family and ofcourse YTTALK community for support :) I really hope you don't let the haters get to you, because in life there will always be haters and you can;t keep hiding and running away. With everyone saying that you shouldn't start a new channel. These people hating on you are also giving you free publicity and those that actually like your channel will respect you even more for choosing to ignore them and do your thing.
 
Do NOT make a new channel. In life people will try to ruin things for you by making you feel like crap about good things you have!
I came to Japan 10 years ago and even "friends" here had spiteful things to say about my hobbies, or my choices. Live for yourself or you will never be able to enjoy. Whatever you you are doing you will receive heat for it :happy:
 
I think you just need to keep your head up and ignore what all of those people at your school have to say. The fact of the matter is that you've been doing something that you enjoy now and have built up a substantial following of subscribers who enjoy your videos. And these people who make snide remarks or who diss on you for having a YouTube channel are only a temporary part of your life. School is much shorter than we think it is, and once you're done with it you never have to see those people again and their opinion won't matter. Stick it out and stay true to yourself!
 
I wouldn't bother. It is obviously a hard thing having people know something you would like to keep secret, however, I wouldn't let this hold you back. Just let them say what they want and it will become old news before you know it and they will stop bothering you.
