Should I put an intro to my video?

YouTube has an option that lets you add a short clip to your future and past videos. But it only lets it be 3 seconds or under. And seriously this is for your own good. Anything more than that can get repetitive and annoying.

Really? I never knew that such a feature exists. That is pretty cool and useful.

Now if only they had a way to save templates for annotations to use for future or a way to normalize volume of soem uploaded videos by small amounts for fine tuning sometimes. Like +/- 1 db.

Just like Michael said, make sure before your intro, put something interesting and attention getting about the video the viewer is about to watch.

Really good info here, thanks... i created my into yesterday and its about 10 seconds long but after reading this i think ill shorten it to 5 seconds and its also really good to know about the feature that puts it at the start of you videos automatically so thanks!

I just created an intro! Not sure if you guys can see it, but its just me holding a hello kitty, blowing a kiss, and saying hello kitty gal. Tell me what you think? It's only 3 seconds! It's on my newer videos, only the ones I uploaded yesterday, because I am just trying it out and didn't want to put the intro on all the videos if ya'll don't think its good quality.
