Should I or Shouldn't I

Some of you know along with my DIY videos I do a 1 minute vlog. I think I'm going to drop it from 1 minute to 15secs. Here's the reasons, I can get my point across faster with boring my audience too much. It will be a challenge to make something interesting within 15 secs and I do like a challenge. Finally most of the time I can't fill 1 minutes so I might as well do less. You're probably thinking, "why is he asking thing when it looks like he already made up his mind." Well Mr/Mrs smarty pants...I need some kind of validation.

Just moving this to the Script, Script Writing, Video Ideas & Planning section of the forum for you. I'd say shorter videos are the way to go these days...people tend to have a very short attention span. But does that mean it has to be 15 seconds? Whatever you feel will make the video good...as long as your point is across...I'd say try it, see what happens

I agree with you. I can barely watch peoples videos for more than 1 minute.

I almost think that's too short. While attention spans are short and everything, I feel as if that's SO short that people will assume there can't be anything interesting or like.. like that's how I'd think. I'd be like "15 seconds? What could he possibly do in 15 seconds that would impact me" and not click it. I dunno... I feel like 30 to 45 seconds would be about as low as you could go before sending the message "this video is too short to even matter or have a point"
