Should i make a new youtube?

Hey guys, I received a copyright strike and im at almost 1.3k subs with almost 500k total views.

I really want to become partnered and was wondering if i should just wait out the 6 months for the strike to go away or just make a new youtube account and start over?

I would just wait, work on your promoting, and keep improving the quality of your channel and those six months will fly by.
