Should I Limit How Many Videos I Post Each Day?

Personal choice on how much time you have, how regularly you watch the particular person, etc.
Most I've put out is 5 videos in 1 day, although then I don't upload for about another week or two.

In regards to this, have you thought about uploading on a scheduled release? That way you can upload all 5, then have YouTube slowly pump them out over 2 weeks.

I don't really know if doing multiple videos a day would have a bad effect on the quality. I mean, I'm currently doing stuff based on two online games, so it's not like content will ever really run out, and since I'm doing live commentary I can't really plan ahead, because stuff just kind of happens when I play.

I had recorded a 14 or so minute video, edited it down to 8 minutes to get rid of the fluff/boring moments, and uploaded..Only took around 2 and a half hours total.

I'm not trying to argue with anyone, and I appreciate the feedback. I just don't see where the loss in quality would come from if I'm taking my time.

I would never subscribe to someone who produced that much. I'd potentially miss OTHER YouTubers by not scrolling down enough in my subscription feed.

Overloading the subscribers with content canabalizes your own views, tells the subscribers you don't value their choice to watch a single video a day, and tells other YouTubers you think your stuff is 15x more valuable than what they're putting out.

If you want to put out that many videos - set up a side-channel. Allow your subs to opt into what they want to see. Don't be arrogant and try to dictate what they should be watching.

That's spam, and it's evil.

Other then the arrogant and evil bits (a bit OTT!) I pretty much agree with this.

Well he's using arrogant in the sense that your videos will push down all other videos on your subscriber's feed.

I'm sure it's unintentional as you are just trying to produce content for your subs, but I'm also sure there are those out there that do this deliberately to dominate someone's feed.

Arrogant? o_o I'm just posting videos...

Imagine if one of your Facebook friends started posting updates every 10 minutes (back before Facebook started hiding updates). It's a similar thing.

Every social media platform has it's own "pace", and you'll frustrate people if you don't abide by it.

At least spinning off another channel lets your users opt-in. If you post that much content, what you're saying is "it's all or nothing"

My advice is to anyone to release 1 video a week and give it all you got! Consecrate on 1 for the time been then expand if you wish. Quality over Quantity my friend.

I personally, upload 3-5 videos in a week. I'm not sure how I would ever be able to put out 15 videos a day. I have enough trouble finding something I think is good enough to be uploaded to fill my current quota.
