Should I just quit...?

Hey guys. So I've had this channel for more than a year and the growth is extremely slow. I try to be as unique as possible and try to keep everything fun, but I feel like I'm getting no return for the efforts that I put into this YT channel. I'm looking for some feedback on my channel and content and also if you think that I should just quit Youtube. I like making videos....it's really fun, but it sucks when you spend hours on something and the return is miniscule. Thank you in advance!

I don't think you should quit. Your videos are fun to watch and you're clearly making content you like. Honestly, it takes time to build up an audience. If there comes to be a time when you don't enjoy it anymore, then that's when you should quit, but until then keep doing what you're doing.

WOWWWWW!! I'm in the SAME exact situation as you. I will check out your channel after I write this. NO! You should not quit no matter what. I literally spent 2 hours on my video yesterday, and got like 30 views. I do this with all of my videos and I think they're hilarious. I've also been making YouTube vids for over a year as well.

I made a Walking Dead video that ranked on the first page, granted it was in the 9th position, and not many people will scroll down that far, but STILL! A Walking Dead video! On the first page. I outranked people with 100,000 and more subscribers with my 480 subs. And guess what? I still got no views, but I'm still not giving up. I love to make videos and find them funny. Yes, I feel discouraged a lot, but I'm still going forward, no matter what. I know if I put in the effort, something big will happen.

All the great YouTubers didn't get big overnight man. It took them years to get where they're at now. I remember Jacksepticeye saying he only had like 1,000 subs, and been doing it for two years. And now, like 3 years later, he's at like 13 million or somewhere around there. It just takes time, and if you keep going, I guarantee it'll work out in the end.

Don't quit man, it just takes a while to figure out what works and what doesn't. watch over your stuff and really critique it and if there's anything you're not sure about get rid of it, and the stuff you do like figure out how to do more of it! You seem confident and likeable so just keep it up!

Hey man, I just got finishing watching some of your videos, and I agree that you deserve a lot more views and subs. I subbed to you and I'll be giving support from here on out. I really enjoyed them. I find it funnier than a lot of other channels I usually watch. Don't give up, do not. Your videos are hilarious and you should not stop creating them. Keep going and you'll succeed. If you'll like to collab on a video, that'll be great. But that's definitely up to you!

Don't quit man! it's hard for everyone, don't feel alone! It sounds like you have some growing issues, but you should totally keep doing it if you enjoy it. It's not always about the views but whether you are having fun or not =]

Jacksepticeye also had the supreme advantage of winning a shout out on Pewdiepies channel :p But I agree, never give up!

You have to do what feels right. If you enjoy making videos and if you are really passionate about it that you would do it for free and for no reason then continue. Because if you don't enjoy and wouldn't do it for free without any recognition then it's not meant to be.
