Should I join a network or not?

Just feel like saying: Networks do not guarantee growth for your channel.
Yeah, but still... While I'm writing/replying all this I'm dead-tired, so my thinking wasn't quite effiecent while writing the original thread.
Never realized how, er, not quite sure the word for it. "Not-so-useful" I guess, Networks are.

I joined Freedom not too long ago. It wasn't for the money. I just wanted to see what a network could offer. I also wanted to join and participate in a new forum and being part of the network has some promotion perks in their forums. I gained about 10-15 subs just being active on their forum and it wasn't really 'work' just doing what I normally do here. If there is no long term contract just go for it nothing really to lose.
Personally I'm not comfortable with allowing a manager to be added to my channel without knowing anything (Machinima, for example. Straight "Add manager," with no prep/requirements reading, etc.)
This may be different for some Networks, though.

It depends on the network, that's quite an untrue statement.

What are you looking for a network?
I assume you're asking me, but if you're not, just lemme know.

One that is known enough to expand my channel (make me more known), but not one that locks in, or has unfair money splits.

After you join a network, get back to me in 6 months. You can tell me I was right ;)

'Ey 'ey, that's assuming I find a good enough one.
But, to be honest, I'm thinking more of winging it, because of you. :D (Which is good)
Thanks.
But, if I do eventually get offered an insane deal, I'll get back to you. But, may not happen for a good while, so don't forget me! ;)
