It depends. If you want one, and get one that looks nice, use it. But if not introduce your video. Say hello, and slowly ease into the topic. That way it's not a sudden beginning.

But in all honesty, I recommend an intro.

check out Brent Blogs new intro, he just made one recently that eases right in and rocks. That to me is a good example of a good intro.

I got the "base" for my intro that I edited myself from FlixPress.com for $3. May be worth checking out. They have free ones, too.

Depends on the type of channel. for my channel as I'm always filming for different people it's good for me to have a intro to show its my video but for others its not needed!
