should I have a schedule?

The reason big youtubers like Miranda Sings don't upload consistently or a lot OR don't seem to have a schedule is because they're already popular, they already rake in millions on views & engagement. Youtube encourages & likes to see consistency, which requires a schedule. If you don't have time for it, then you simple don't have time to make video's. If you want Youtube as a fulltime career one day, you have to do the long haul & hard work, not to also sound harsh, but it seems like you're not entirely too serious about youtube since you prioritise everything else before it (which is completely fine! Don't get me wrong!)

By listing the things you have to do, you've kinda made a schedule? & surely you have a schedule for your work... like deadlines etc. Organisation is a good skill to have in any industry. I study full time, do photography, also a professional model, & also do youtube on top of that. How do i manage? Schedule. Having a plan. I honestly don't know how I could live without being organised & have a schedule of some sort haha

Would you say that a video once or twice a month is okay or should a youtuber be more Consistent than that?

If you want to have youtube as a fulltime career & want to get somewhere with it sooner, it's best to do an upload at least once a week, twice or three times if you can manage. With barely any uploads like once a month, people tend to forget that you exist & won't be too interested in your content anymore.
