I don't think it took too long to relearn stuff and get to the same level of editing as I had on Vegas.I've viewed adobe on youtube. It looks really neat, but looks more complex. I feel like I can do more with, but with vegas I'm just so fast and comfortable with.
Kristeen how long did it take for you to switch. I mean by hours of re-learning everything?
I would stick with vegas pro 13, (its the artist not the paintbrush)
I just watched your content (i wanted to see your editing)
Your visuals are really good, what mic do you use?? (is it the one that comes with the camera?)
Your look is perfect, your content ideas are brilliant, your visuals are good (it does seem a bit dark in your room)
i have to say the only thing lacking, is your audio, and i noticed you tried to cover the bg noise with music xD, i do it when i use my camera's mic.
Stick with vegas, maybe add a "Subscribe, like" png overlay at some point in the beginning.
I know this isn't what you asked for, but your channel is really decent, and when i see people putting in the time and effort, i feel like they would appreciate an outsiders time and effort critiquing the channel.
Your going to do well on youtube, fix your audio (buy a mic?) and maybe get a few more lights in the shot.
(also do you use the "Color corrector" effect that comes with sony vegas??)
The Takstar SGC-598 is a budget shotgun mic that keeps getting recommended. If you want something from a more reputable brand, RODE's VideoMic GO and VideoMicro (has a camera version and a smartphone version) are great options.I'm just currently using the camera mic. I have a shotgun mic i did ordered online (ebay) but it's really bad.
I'm not really familiar with mic and brands and all that stuff. From the beginning till now, I just stuck with the Rebel T5i mic.
Any suggestions on what mic is good to buy?
Yes I know about the color correction, ill try it out.
Thanks for the feed back bro.

I personally use the VideoMic GO and the smartphone version of the VideoMicro.
