Should I be worried?

Hey everyone! Just something that's been worrying me. (Man, I worry about too much stuff -_-)
So on my channel I like to use this particular fart sound, but to be honest I don't know if it's copyrighted or not. I'm worried that my videos will give me copyright strikes because of one sound effect. Sounds stupid, I know, but I don't want to risk anything. Would anyone really go as far as to ban my channel for using a sound effect? Should I replace the sound effect just in case? Thanks! :D
 
I know the sound ur talking about because I watch ur vids..just make a fart sound urself..it can't be that hard lol..you don't want to risk anything so u never know
 
I don't think so.
Again I can't be sure since I uploaded my first video today.
But that video had a short excerpt of "I knew you were trouble"
YouTube hasn't taken it down....yet.
I don't think they'd do it for something that small :D
 
There is no way someone will flag you for using a fart sound. The sound of farting is one of those noises that you here all the time. That's like me flagging you for stealing the sound of my hands clapping.

You created that sound though..you can make it an audio file and its yours..all I'm saying better safe than sorry u never know
 
The fact that this is even brought up or is a legit concern, really makes me sad for the state media is in.
Can not help but remember Jim Sterling Jimquisition Piracy episode.
Copyright are design to protect the creator from someone stealing it, now it is a way to kill competition or just be a d**k about things.
