Should I be offended that I have never had a network contact me asking me to join them?

Internet Idiot who loves making people laugh
I know I don't have a lot of subs and I definitely do not earn enough money to end up losing a percentage of it to a network as well as I already do to Adsense, I've only just reached the payment threshold to enter my bank details! but anyway I have noticed people with less subs then me have had emails from certain networks asking them if they would like to be a partner, and I never have

Should I be offended? I feel a bit like my channel and videos arent good enough for anyone to want me to sign with them in the future, probably thinking way too much into this but it's just something I have noticed haha

(I admit I have not been actively uploading recently but that is because of uni and won't last forever)

I don't have any plans to join a network at the moment for the reasons listed above but it would still be nice to be asked haha!

Anyone else never had anything?

I think it's more of a consistent views, content, and sub count then actual quality of the content. The more views you gain them the more potential money they make, so I'm assuming that most MCNs could careless about actual content. So I wouldn't let it concern you too much.

No.. We actually had to contact a network.. they aren't really going out contacting people unless you are a viral sensation then they will, but usually you have to go to them and they review your channel.

Meh I didn't get offers I went to curse. I only went because I started getting 500views channel wide...although I seem to have hit a plateau >.<

I've been contacted by a few people.

No idea why.

It's actually sort of annoying after a bit, so don't think tooooo much on it

Be very wary of accepting a network contract, I've had more than just a few friend's end up being netted into a contract only to be abused as heck by certain groups. (i.e. Machinima AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE) A good rule to go by is to focus on improvement without being so critical that you wear yourself out. GENERALLY that just means having fun, but just remember your channel is by extension you. So just like you wouldn't sign up to a credit card you don't need. Don't rush to thinking just because you lack the views NOW you cannot get them by smarts and different approaches/networking by your own means. In any case! Don't lose hope and if you ever need any help or advice I would be happy to help! I'm still a novice but sometimes a second opinion can help! Stay positive and keep your head up! Each view can change a life :P its a view that helps me keep positive!

Only just noticed this! Thankyou for the offer always nice to have support! :)

Nope. You shouldn't be offended at all, I get a s**t ton of "offers" from different networks all the time, and it gets extremely annoying. Most offers you'll get are recruiters that don't even look at your content and just copy + paste a message to send to you. Or if they're really shady they will have bots that do it automatically for them.

From my experiences, most of the time that we get messages about joining a network it isn't from the MCN itself it is from other YouTubers who are trying to sign you up with their referral link to get a bonus of some sort. It has nothing to do with your quality, just that they haven't came across your channel yet.
