Should I be concerned? Noob question

I've Got It
Hi all so I've been on youtube for just over two weeks and I currently stand on 10 subs with just over 400 views, I check every morning to see if it has changed but it really does not so my question is are those numbers ok or am I doing something wrong? I've tried to get my name out there ( without spamming ) but after just over 2 weeks I only have 10 subs?? Is that bad?

Sorry to ask what must seem like a noobie question but also I can have a video up for a day or so without it being viewed at all and when I search for my videos I can't seem to get them to appear in the youtube search :( what should I do? Am I tagging them wrong?

I'm still so new to all of this so any help or advice would be really appreciated
 
It's a slow process at the start. I've been on YouTube for a week and I've got 5 subscribers and about 52 views. So you're doing better than me! :) The reason your videos don't appear in the search is that they aren't very popular yet, sometimes it takes a while for the video to show up even if its been uploaded successfully. Just be patient and keep putting out content and eventually views will trickle in. It also could be because the gaming section of YouTube is saturated and sometimes the videos just get lost among others of a similar nature. It's really a waiting game, how do you promote your channel? On a side not I like your content. Its great! :D
 
Mate, honestly, that's brilliant. The one thing you need with youtube is patience.

It's never going to be an over night thing. I learnt yesterday it someone like PewDiePie months to get just 19 subs. So is it bad? Nah, it's great.
 
Honestly, ten subs in 2 weeks is good going! It's always a bit tricky when you start out but you'll see those numbers rolling in faster soon, i'm sure :)
 
Took me around a year just to reach 100 subs, no need to worry at all. Just be patient and after a while it will pay off if you keep pushing on with your channel :D.

i thought maybe i was doing something wrong, thanks for taking the time to answer :)

And to answer Newb Tewb about what im doing to promote, im just popping my link on a few gaming websites but i really don't want to spam and all that so im not going overboard with it because the last thing i want to do is annoy people as i don't think that will help in the long run and will just reflect negatively on my content.
