Above all else the big "gamers" have a VERY entertaining personality. They could do anything outside of gaming and it would still be funny. I think the game is just the medium for that to get notoriety...for now.

Back to LTcorbis...The shock factor, style, great editing, humor, her age and gender make it a winning combo for gamers and most importantly NON-GAMERS. Honestly I would go to her channel if there were no games playing. In fact she would probably get more people if she just commentated on random stuff with pics, because the gaming is just filler.

I'm not saying her content isn't good, but if she had not received a shout out from a popular youtuber she would still have 250 subscribers and nobody would know who she was. It was LUCK that led to her popularity not years of self-promoting and hard work.
 
I mean its a bit weird but yeah it's just weird but I guess good for hear... :thumbsup2: FYI I don't really care :D
 
The way I see it, is that is what YouTube is. You can grow instantly over night from a shoutout or just do really well or get lucky on your own. I think she has decent content and am curious to see how she does.

It is not just the microphone. She used some small tricks you learn only after analysing multi million views YT channel analytics data. Either somehow she acquired this knowledge or (most probably) the people behind the channel knew about it.
In anyway she is smart little girl. I hope her parents does not force her to give up school because of their YT enterprise.
 
Well I mean theres a little boy who has a lot of subscribers, doesn't really surprize me that another one did, I really just wish the best and if she already has over 170k then she is well off on her way to a long journey :)
 
To be fair once one of my videos shot up in popularity, and i woke up to so many subs overnight it was great, not as many as that though haha

She is actually so cute though and tiny, amazing wish I was like that at 11 hahaha
 
Just watched her most recent vid.

Its scripted. The level of thinking, speech pattern and vocabulary are well beyond an 11 year old.

There are adults behind the account, the parents perhaps, who are helping, Has to be.

Right content, saw by the right people at the right time. Boom.

Its a dream we would all love to personally happen but very rare it happens.

It is pretty crappy to see someone rise to fame with 3-4 videos when you have the likes of some of you guys here who have been regularly upload 3-4 videos a week for the last 2-3 years.

Its a matter of keeping with what your doing and sticking with it. Yeah you have people like these who get their boost but keep grinding, our boost will come in time.
 
It wasn't luck and she was going to blow up with or without Pyro's shoutout, it was just a matter of time.
He definitely did speed up the process but her success was going to happen either way.

She admitted that she molded herself from four or so different YouTubers so we can't really use that against her

I don't believe that many of her viewers watch her videos because they are gaming videos, they watch them for her and her personality. It is awesome to have a fan base like she does. If I deviate from the main games that I play on my other channel I generally don't get a lot of subs watching outside of a few core viewers but she could do underwater basket weaving and most of her subs would still watch.
