Sharing my experience with Adsense

Hey everyone

So I recently got a $30 gift card from a friend for christmas and hadnt really decided what to do with it, then today I figured I may as well put it towards my channel. I searched if there was any equipment I needed for $30 and there wasnt, so I thought I would try my luck at adsense.

One of my more recent videos (Hero 4 and DJI Phantom 2 Beach Reel) has got almost 400 views in a week, so I thought I might give it a little boost and see if I can attract more viewers to my channel. As this is one of my most favourite videos I thought it would be good to set up an ad for it. I set up some specific audiences and key words to target, and I plan to get back to you all on how the whole ad goes.

In the mean time, feel free to tell me if you have used adsense, and how did it work for you.

Didn't pay for any ads personally but will love to hear how your video goes after advertising, it is something I may give a go in the future.
 
So a quick update for everyone, Ive gained 239 views in 2 days on the video, considering it was averaging about 10 a day before advertising it has definitly seen an increase in views, but in terms of subscribes, not much gain yet.

Oh ok, did you put all of the $30 into it? Thanks for getting back to us :).
 
Are you talking about AdWords? Because I believe AdWords allows you to make ads (advertise yourself) and AdSense is a monetization system.
 
Hahaha it's ok. :) I was just confused a little bit.

I tried to use AdWords but they didn't approve my ad :/ I'm going to try it again.

Have you guys heard about AdWords Coupon? Because this is what makes me believe AdWords might br worth using. If you haven't heard about it then just google "AdWords Coupon".
