I have a main channel, BishopGamer, which I Make tutorials on:

Photoshop
Tips and Tricks for PC

and a LOT of gameplays:
Minecraft
Black Ops 2
MW3
MW2 Don't Starve

Shall I Make a new channel for tutorials ?

I like having two channels...hell I got 3. If you don't like making videos all the time then I wouldn't recommend it. If you like making daily videos but don't want to upload 2-3 videos a day on one channel then I recommend doing it. I also did it because I would have someone sub to me because of my rants and then the next day get a retro gaming video. I didn't want to confuse people. I separated my rants/vlogs and gaming videos. I also have another channel for a character who was also originally (like my gaming videos) on my main channel. I wouldn't have done it though if I wasn't part of Fullscreen. I can link all those channels together and get paid into one account with all of 3 of them.

I look at my channel as a Tv Network. (Hense the TV in my username). I do vlogs, but I also do gaming videos or whatever kind of video I want to make on one channel. It's harder to transfer subs from one channel to another. There are pros and cons to doing one channel tho.

Pros:
  • All of your videos are in one place.
  • All of your subscribers are in one place.
  • All of your views are in one place.
  • Easier to keep track of.
Cons:
  • Some people do not like the idea of everything being on one channel.
  • Some people will subscribe because you make certain videos (let's say tutorials), and they probably don't want to watch gameplays.
If you are planning on using one channel, I would separate your gaming and tutorials in playlist. Make it an easy place for users to navigate your channel, and be able to switch between both genres very easily.
