Seriously people! Shadowplay is absolutely brilliant for PC gameplay. If you have an NVIDIA card and you are not using it currently (under the NVIDIA geforce experience) then you are missing out!LITERALLY NO DROP IN FRAMES IN GAMEPLAY RECORDING!

Currently the webcam feature only works with streaming, hopefully they will sort that out soon but until then I record my webcam in Movie Maker and add it into the video at the editing stage in Vegas.

So yes chaps, if you didnt already know this and you really were born yesterday wake up and take advantage!

Whoa whoa whoa, I just searched it up and this thing is free?! Why do I not know about this?! I think I even have a compatible graphics card!

Compared to other software Shadowplay has literally NO DROP IN FRAMES while playing games for me

Wait wait wait wait, what file sizes do you get after recording? I use Fraps and it is INSANE.

I must admit I do not regularly check the file sizes after recording but it records in the H.264 mp4 format - i hear it uses a chip on the graphics card istelf to ease PC strain when recording!

It also records in CRYSTAL clear quality :D

Omg I just tested it out and it's definitely better than Fraps. Now I regret wasting those $30. ;-;

Also, I tested out the file size with Bastion and around 7 min took up about 1.6GB. Fraps took up about 8GB with that much footage.

My biggest gripe with it right now is that it can't record Google Chrome, so I can't play things like Happy Wheels or Town of Salem. :crycry:

Edit: Just found out that you can record with OBS as well. So I guess combined with this you can record anything. :xd:

I was just going to mention OBS - it is a great free program - I will have to get into this happy wheels malarky!
