Self-Destructive

Before I get onto my impressions of your video, I will say that at least 2-3 times per year, we release a video that will intentionally have some controversial material in it. It's basically to weed out any of the fans that can't handle our style of humor. We call these sub purging days. If they choose to unsub because of it, it's not really that big of a loss. They were going to unsub at some point anyway. Yet another way in which we don't conform to the rules that most youtubers follow.

After watching through your video twice, I think you could have organized it a bit better-it was very scattered with your punchline a bit buried. Which made your opening statement that you oppose gay marriage stand out more than it should have. If you led off with the statement that you are opposed to marriage and that the government should butt out and then followed it up with that as the reason you are opposed to gay marriage, then it flows more smoothly and you won't have to overcome the huge mental block you just created with viewers. They may only focus on the first thing you say, so the way in which you laid out the video is what might cause you damage-the overall message is fairly benign and is not a cause for concern.

Overall, I doubt if you have any reason to worry-if there was, you would see a much greater number of shares and dislikes by now.

Yeah, it wasn't my best - I threw out another script because I felt compelled to talk about this, so I ran out of time to craft it better >.<

There are people who's complete reason for being is to provoke, and they're very successful.
Equally, any interaction is good interaction.
but they have specific types of audiences.

I don't see why you can't mix the two audiences either. Be sure to let us know when the stats come in *if* anyone actually unsubscribed.

Now I'm going to watch it.
And then indignantly unsubscribe. :-)
