Seasonal Videos

Hi YTTalk!! So it's Halloween and I just posted a Halloween themed video along with lots of other YouTubers. However, my question is, since I'm new to YouTube, do you guys see an increase of views or subscribers around videos posted to the seasons/holidays? Eg. A what I got for Christmas video at Christmas, New Years Resolutions at New Years and What I am Thankful For at Thanksgiving etc etc etc.

I just wonder going forward whether it be worth doing this.

Definitely. Holidays are always everywhere on everyone's dashboard, and I'm pretty sure when there's a lot of holiday videos they're gonna start watching them. Every holiday is a great opportunity for a video

I normally do a Christmas Tree decorating time lapse... I did it two years in a row, don't know if we will do a big tree this year. I may also do a Halloween video if I end up decorating, it depends on the condition of our winter grass. I don't really get a ton of seasonal views though, I just like to do the videos

Yeah I've done seasonal videos before for sure and I'd say they definitely help maybe even especially because you're new because it gives people a good place to start, ya know? My supposed "most recent video" in my signature aka from like 10 months ago was actually a resolutions one so yeah I definitely do them hahahaha
