scripted or unscripted vedios ?

I'll answer that only after you answer this: What's better, 1 piece of bacon or 3 pieces of sausage? Explain why these are better.

Munchito is on track here. Different types of videos work well with improve, and certain people work well with improv. Experiment with both, try some hybrids, and see what feels most natural, and what you like best.

At first I was just going to be an a**, but I decided to be creative. Some people just don't like bacon or sausage. And depending how hungry you are, even if you like bacon more you may want the sausage to get full.

So it all depends! I do unscripted most of the time since I catch random acts of dog awesomeness for most of my videos.

well scripted videos would obviously turn out better because you already know what to say and everything. unscripted videos would seem more impressive but whats the point if people can't exactly tell if its scripted or no? i think you rather wanna entertain viewers in a quality way that means why not have scripted videos where u already know what to do and say so u wouldn't screw up and have to film more takes or edit like crazy. thats just my opinion

I think scripting is right more often than not, but I can't agree that scripted videos always turn out better.

Consider My Drunk Kitchen, which is unscripted. The fun comes from the improv, the riffing, the silly, and the screw ups - I don't think this is a show that would benefit from scripting.

On the other hand, Ryan Higa's videos have gone up considerably in quality, and the pre-planning and scripting is very apparent and to its benefit.

Like I said, scripting is probably the right path for most content, but it's more 80/20, rather than 99/1.

true it actually depends on person as well like how good are you. some ppl are better without scripts it depends. but be aware a lot of youtubers even include all that silly and screw up in the script. its a part of script most of the times.
