Screwed Up My YouTube Name…Help

[Prank Invasion]

My name has always been PrankInvasion but to make it look better I went onto my Google+ page and tried to change it to Prank Invasion (with a space). Accidentally, I entered Prank .Invasion (with a period) and saved changed. When I went back to fix it it won't let me change it to anything else.

I submitted an appeal to Google. Anyone know the chances of my request to be Prank Invasion being approved? I hope I don't get stuck being Prank .Invasion.

I'm not sure there's any way to change your channel name without closing it down and starting all over again, which obviously you don't want to do. I've considered making my channel name shorter but I couldn't find a way I trusted, I didn't want to lose my channel by accident!

No problem. Takes a lot of balls to do what you do, major props just for that! Especially in this day and age where everyone is so sensitive and easily offended.

Try and change it again in 30 minutes or so?

I believe you have to wait a few days in order to change it. But be careful, as the more you change it, the longer time you will have to wait to change it again.

I did the same thing when I changed mine. I wish it told you how long you'd have To wait before you change it. Once I was able to change it, it didn't let me do it again for over a month. Now that I changed it again, (what it currently is), it said something that I wouldn't be able to change it again got a few months, which is fine with me because I don't want to change it anymore
