Scheduling Your Videos And Recording in Advance - Do you do it?

We usually have 2-3 weeks (28-42) videos in the scheduled uploader at any given time and about 500-600 videos that are already shot but need to be edited. We usually hold off on the editing until right before it goes into the uploader to maintain consistency in editing style since it might be a long time before the videos are released.

No, but this is something I'd like to do to give me a bit of breathing space and to have a stock of a few "emergency" videos in case I couldn't make one for whatever reason.

I like to always have two or three videos ready for release at any one time so that if I have a busy week or something I know I will at least have a coupla videos to tide the channel over until I can record again. Right now I have 2 Terraria 1.2 vids ready for release and have been working on a 200th video highlight reel for the past few days. so 2 videos prepared and one nearly done which I will upload either 12 or 24 hours apart.

I have 22 videos unpublished (might be another 50-100 for that series?) and another 5 that are part of a mix of series. 1 of which won't be finished for a while, so it could be released next year due to recording schedules being all over the place -.- EDIT: I forgot to add, shhh xD I used to add the private videos to a playlist and found out the hardway that playlists show private videos but don't play them >.>

I film about 2-3 episodes on a monday or a friday, edit and release throughout the week, as i cant film doing most weekdays. So in a way yeah i guess i do schedule a bit.

I did it for like the first couple of months of my channel but then life got busy and I just started making them whenever I had time and inspiration. I try to stick to uploading on either Tuesdays or Fridays though, especially as Tuesdays was the day I always used to upload. I usually film them only the day before and then edit them but I never really do them too far in advance.

I sometimes do. It's such a nice feeling to know that you have videos ready to go. For if life gets in the way.
Right now I don't and life is getting in the way a bit but I will make sure I will keep my schedule of 1 video a week.
I like to have 2 to 3 videos ready. I do notice that they can't be fully edited like weeeeks in advance because editting styles can change.

I only have videos recorded in advance when I get a free weekend home (which is rare). For example, last night I recorded, edited, rendered, and uploaded my newest video. It's a TON of work and I would much rather have some videos stockpiled so I can spend more time editing! However, I do like making videos the day of wanting to post it because I can have real-time updates and can acknowledge my audience feedback. My vlogs & unboxings are ALWAYS shot the day of uploading them.
