Scheduling Your Videos And Recording in Advance - Do you do it?

Michael

I Love YTtalk
Do you schedule your videos where you will have recorded them quite a long time before they eventually are released? I dont necessarily mean where you use the YouTube scheduling feature, you could release them manually.

I can imagine this being very effective especially with larger channels perhaps where you record a few in a day or two and you are able to hold them back for a few days perhaps or even longer.

How many videos do you have unreleased but pending release on your channel?

Do any of you have your Christmas videos already done? That probably sounds crazy but you never know, someone here might plan well in advance

in my case we have to since i don't see Danial and Paul to often..we film 4 to 6 skits in one day and then we release them...haha our latest video the main footage is from august! so yeah..we do film quite a bit in advance if we get the chance too!

I'm very big on the idea of it. I definitely want to do it this time around. It'll help with cases where I might get sick or something. Then I'll have some already made and I don't have to worry about missing an episode for that week. Like I brought up before though, is that the downfall to that is that it can't be on recent events. Other than that, I think it's a great idea.

If I'm going on vacation, I will have enough videos scheduled to publish for while I am gone. Otherwise, I may have up to 3-4 videos ready to go at any given time.

I pretty much have everything scheduled out a week in advance and often have videos yet to be published that were recorded month or more before they are uploaded.

A couple of my videos were shot well in advance of the actual time released! Falling Down and You Had To Go were done months in advance! But.....for the most part, I usually don't have a lot of space left on my computer, so I will shoot a couple of days in advance before putting it out hehe.

Wow I would love to be ahead of the game! I shoot and post a video each week and some videos suffer because of that. Being a few weeks or even just a week ahead is definitely something I want to accomplish

Back when I had a schedule (once a week) I definitely tried to stay ahead. Sadly that all fell apart and now I just upload when I can xD I really do need to work ahead again. It was nice having long breaks and not having to worry about uploading anything, haha.
